Austin_300LAMAR

The 300 Lamar project was a study to create street interest and a signature address. The existing building has great materials, but the palette is very neutral and nothing pops against the urban fabric background. Also there is no main entry or at least from a pedestrian and automobile perspective the façade did not read as having a place to call the front door. We simply used a collection of colors that are still neutral and vibrant and contrasted the base of the building with a darker steel color accent. The building address becomes an iconic tower element and the front door address is blended with an olive green screen wall and a large graphic 300. The intent is the 300 becomes the branded element throughout the project. This is work still in progress and we are excited to see the final outcome.
